Let’s catch up

Wow! Is it March already? Winter here seemed to have just, well, not happened, except for a brief period. I know that is not true for everyone. There is a lot of stuff happening here at the Smithy, so I figured I would use this month to give y’all a peek at what you can look forward to in the coming months.

Over on Patreon, several of us have taken metal that I forged, and we are doing a month long (at least) exploration on how metal can affect our meditation practice. Some are working with steel and others are working with copper. We have been at it several weeks and the effects so far have been incredible. So, if you want to be a part of discovering how metal magic can be used in your life, come join us.

For upcoming events:

  • I have a festival in Downtown Winston on the 25th, Firefly Market at Footnote Coffee & Cocktails from 11am-4pm. If you can make it, come say hi!

  • We will host the Magickal Blacksmithing Immersion on April 7th. If you have ANY interest in metal magic and if you ever have time to do this weekend, do it! It will be life changing. Don’t just take my word for it. There have been multiple people who have repeated this workshop. It’s that epic! As of this writing there are 2 spots left.

  • On the following weekend, April 14th, we are hosting the Primitive Blacksmithing Immersion. I gear this weekend more for those who want to learn the craft in a way that they can take what they learn here and continue it at home. One spot left for that one

  • I have another event on May 20th at the Lynch Creek Festival in Kittrell.

  • In June I will teach and be vending at the Morrigan’s Call Retreat. This is a fantastic event and the registration cut-off is fast approaching - April 1st. I really enjoyed my time there last year (I wrote about it here) and I am looking forward to it again this year. They have also honored me by letting me create a pendant for this year's event. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Cori's Ravens Scholarship. The class I am teaching this year is on metal magic (shocker!). I have titled it ‘Washer’s At The Forge’. I plan to do this class in video format later, so it can be available in an online video form.

Speaking of classes, I am in the process of putting some of my book into video form. It will not be me reading it word for word! Yuck! My thought is having it in more of a class type set up. It will contain a bunch of what is in the book, and it will also have some added information as well. So, if you are a person who learns better with that type of delivery (raises hand), then I think this will be something you will enjoy. And if not, I still hope you will enjoy it!

Since Samhain, the ‘Moon Bling’ has been ‘Idad-Honoring the Ancestors’, a Copper Scribe-to help get some work done, ‘Synergy’-which was about connection with community, and ‘New Day’ which was about new beginnings and fresh starts. You may want to keep an eye out over the next few days on what this month will have in store for us.

Well, just looking at this is making me tired, so I need to get busy. Thanks for all your support and let me know if I can be of service!

Do me a favor: Before you go, if you liked this post, then please scroll on to the bottom click on that little heart below. Then share this with someone who you think would benefit (there are buttons at the bottom for you to do this easily). Please don’t keep me a secret! I need your help to spread the word. After all, how many people do you know that can say they have their very own personal magical blacksmith??

If you haven't done so, please subscribe to the site. That way you won't miss anything (like new forge bling, posts, announcements, sales etc.) And even better, if possible, please support me, over at Patreon

I welcome you to add your comments below.

Don't leave just yet! Check out all the Forge Bling in the shop. And get the book 'Metal Never Lies An Introduction To Metal Magic'

Or see what upcoming Workshops are available. Finally, you can see what others say about their experience!

And don't forget to check out some things you may have missed on the YouTube channel
